I've just posted the FREE May design on my Yahoo Group and on my website. I created a nice cancer ribbon that includes small hearts in the satin fill stitch. Projects that are created with these ribbons are usually created because someone has lost a loved one, so I thought the little hearts were perfect.

Free Hoop Basting Templates

I've just posted the FREE April designs on my Yahoo Group and on my website. I'm offering all of the completed Hoop Basting Templates in one zip file. Some might wonder "What's the purpose of a hoop basting template?". The purpose is to keep your items secure and in place without moving while stitching. These templates will work on hooped and un-hooped items. The templates are just simple basting stitches that stitch around the outside edge of the hoop before the design stitches. This is a great tool because whether your item is hooped or not, it ensures that your item and stabilizer are secure and in place before stitching your design.

The zip file includes Hoop Templates in all of our available formats - ART, DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, SEW, SHV, VIP, XXX in the following sizes:

Super cute girly applique cakes!

I had a customer request an applique cake to use for birthday outfits, so I designed and created these adorable cakes! I'm so excited about the way they turned out! You can use the cake alone or with the little flowers or little hearts on top ~ so, so versatile! I'll be making a set for the "Boyz" too! It will have a race car and star add-ons and the bottom of the cake won't be so feminine.
