Gift Certificates now available...

After much research and analysis, I've added Gift Certificates to the website! It seems like it would be an easy enough task, but the way my store is set-up made it fairly difficult. I'm just so excited that I finally figured it out :) So...next time you need a gift for your favorite stitcher you can get them a Gift Certificate! Or...next time someone asks you what you want, you can tell them a Gift Certificate from AKDesigns Boutique, of course!

Gift Certificates can be used for all products on the website ~ nothing is excluded. There are no hidden fees and no expiration date!

Have fun shopping!

Pretty Rose Bush...

...okay, so it's not really pretty yet, but it will be! My mom and dad came to visit last weekend and my sister sent my birthday present down with them ~ this beautiful red double knock-out rose bush! I just planted it this evening, so I hope I didn't wait too long. I know it will be pretty because my mom and sister both have one. I can't wait to watch it grow and bloom! I planted it in the landscape area around my mailbox that helps hide the big electrical boxes in the yard. When it's mature, this rose will perfectly hide the smaller box.

Christmas Gifts ~ Buy HANDMADE!!

Just a quick note since everyone is starting to think of holiday gifts. I would like to encourage everyone to shop as much as possible on ETSY [awesome handmade items] or from WAHMs [work at home moms]. You should first try to support your local WAHMs, buy as many of your gifts from her as possible. This will keep more of your dollars in your community! If you don't know any or need something they don't offer search a few of the links below to find what you're looking for. Wouldn't it be nice to keep all of our money here in the US this holiday season? Plus, your friends and family will love knowing that your gift came from right here in the states!
